Target value assignment

To determine these target values, we use analytical methods that guarantee the highest level of accuracy and precision of the measurement results.  These so-called “reference measurement procedure” are internationally recognised as calibration methods and listed by the Joint Committee for Traceability in Laboratory Medicine (JCTLM).

These reference measurement procedure are used in the calibration lab to ascertain target values for medical laboratories for around 30 analytes in accordance with the Guideline of the German Medical Association (RiLiBÄK).

The lab also certifies control and calibration materials for these parameters as a calibration service. This is used by manufacturers of analysis equipment for measurement traceability.
