No, this isn’t possible. We require written or online registration for the EQA tests.

The catalogue for the following year is issued at the end of September/beginning of October.

The German Medical Association guidelines (Rilibäk) regulate this. They prescribe quarterly, half-yearly or yearly participation. On pages 15-20 of our catalogue you will find a list of parameters and information on how frequently you have to participate in a compulsory EQA test.

The dates listed in the catalogue are when the samples are dispatched from our institute. The samples should reach you on the following day.

Your results can be edited up until the return deadline. The last result entered will be used for the assessment.

No, changes cannot be made once the results have been published.

The German Medical Association guidelines prohibit us from analysing results that have not been submitted on time.

Certificates for parameters requiring EQA tests are valid twice as long as the interval between the compulsory EQA tests. Certificates for non-German Medical Association parameters are usually valid for 12 months .

A certificate is valid as of the deadline for returning the results.

Usually 6 -8 weeks after the return deadline for the results of the EQA test.

No, you can only send in one result per participant number.

No, an EQA test cannot be repeated. However, you have the possibility of re-registering for the next available appointment.

Payment is due after receipt of the invoice by bank transfer.

The price listed in the catalogue is always the price per EQA testing date (except for no. 220, 228, 287, 289, 510 and 511 which are annual orders).

If you require more amounts of a sample than indicated in the catalogue, you can order additional samples for many EQA tests. An additional assessment of a sample with supplemental demands will not be carried out.

EQA tests required by the German Medical Association guidelines are subject to 7% VAT. These tests are marked (B). Tests marked (A) are subject to the normal VAT rate of 19%.

An early payment discount cannot be deducted from the invoice. The invoices are payable without discount.

Physicians and natural scientists can become members of Instand e.V. Membership is granted upon application and approved through an admission resolution passed by the Executive Board.
