New External Quality Assessment (EQA) Scheme for Zika Virus - Detection of Virus Genome and Antibodies

Dear colleagues, 

Today we want to inform you that two new INSTAND EQA schemes for Zika virus diagnostics will be established in Spring 2016. 

These EQA schemes will be performed in cooperation with the Bernhard-Nocht-Institut, Nationales Referenzzentrum für tropische Infektionserreger, WHO Collaborating Centre for Arbovirus and Haemorrhagic Fever Reference and Research, Hamburg (Prof. Dr. Stephan Günther, Prof. Dr. Dr. Jonas Schmidt-Chanasit, Dr. Petra Emmerich): 

-   EQA scheme for detection of Zika virus genome
    together with Prof. Dr. Dr. J. Schmidt-Chanasit and Dr. P. Emmerich 

-   EQA scheme for detection of antibodies against Zika virus 
    (differentiation between virus specific IgG and IgM)  
    together with Dr. P. Emmerich and Prof. Dr. Dr. J. Schmidt-Chanasit
