INSTAND promotes quality assurance in medical laboratories. As an interdisciplinary, non-profit, and scientific-medical professional society, our focus is on improving laboratory analyses' quality as the basis for optimal patient care. INSTAND is appointed by the German Medical Association as a reference institution and has been performing interlaboratory comparisons worldwide in all areas of in vitro diagnostics since 1970.
